Accounting Specialist


This position will report directly to the Operations Finance and Accounting Manager and has a functional reporting relationship with the Director of US Operations. The Accounting Specialist will serve as a daily integral part of the finance and operations team. This position is located in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Duties Include:
Serve as member of local finance team to drive organization and culture change
Input all transactions for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Entries and adjustments into local general ledger
Finance maintenance in the local ERP system
Inter-company transactions, billing and reconciliations
General ledger reconciliations
Customer Collections and reporting
Banking reports and daily cash file upkeep
Assist with month end closing duties for Lewis Center facility
Assist with yearend physical inventory and yearend audit
Generation of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports
Year-end 1099 tax report and filings
Additional tasks and responsibilities as required by the development of the Industrial Division
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum 1 years' work experience in relationship to job description; experience in manufacturing industry a plus
Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, Citrix)
Experience working with general ledger, inventory, invoice coding and product costing
Ability to interface with all levels of the organization efficiently and professionally
Ability to be flexible to meet co-worker's needs
Ability to multi-task at a high level
Organized, detailed, proactive, goal oriented
Advanced Excel skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
